Andy Burnham has assumed office as the 59th Prime Minister (PM) of the United Kingdom (UK), succeeding Keir Starmer who resigned from the position.
He was invited by King Charles III at Buckingham Palace to form a new government in a traditional ceremony known as 'kissing hands.'
