Union Minister of State Sanjay Kumar has laid the foundation stone for the new Force Headquarters building of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at the CGO Complex in New Delhi.

The building is being constructed by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) at an estimated cost of ₹75.78 crore. During the event, he also inaugurated and dedicated multiple infrastructure projects of the CISF to the nation, valued at ₹136.03 crore.

The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has launched two new portals: the Grievance Redressal Mechanism (GRM) and the Money Restoration Module (MRM).

These portals are designed to streamline direct operational coordination among police forces, banking networks, and the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP).

Osmania University in Hyderabad has become the first university in India to receive four International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Management System Certifications from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

The university has been awarded certifications for ISO 21001:2018 (Educational Organisations Management System), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), ISO 50001:2018 (Energy Management System), and ISO 22000:2018 (Food Safety Management System).

The Alliance of Reporting Entities in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) (ARIFAC) has been launched as a national industry platform. It aims to strengthen the AML and CFT framework of India by establishing a unified defense against financial crimes.

This private-sector initiative operates under the guidance of the Financial Intelligence Unit–India (FIU-IND), which acts as an official observer. The day-to-day operations of the platform are managed by the Payments Council of India (PCI) and the Fintech Convergence Council (FCC).

Bank of Baroda has launched the 'bob Golden Goal Deposit Scheme', a 555-day retail term deposit plan for deposits below ₹3 crore, offering interest rates up to 7.4% per annum.

The bank has also introduced the 'bob Legend Foreign Currency Non-Resident (Bank) [FCNR(B)]' deposit scheme, which offers interest rates of 6% for tenures of 3 to less than 4 years, 6.1% for 4 to less than 5 years, and 6.5% for 5-year deposits.

France hosted the 52nd G7 Summit under the theme "Working Together to Address Major International Challenges". PM Narendra Modi represented India at the summit.

Key outcomes of the summit included the adoption of the "Leaders' Declaration on Tackling Migrant Smuggling" to curb human trafficking and the unveiling of the "Declaration on Critical Minerals Supply Chains".

Japanese PM Takaichi introduced the "Partnership On Wide Energy and Resources Resilience (POWERR Asia)", which aims to provide nearly USD 10 billion in financial assistance to strengthen energy and critical minerals supply chains. It is to be noted that the 53rd edition of the G7 Summit is scheduled to be hosted by the USA.

Kunal Shah, the founder of CRED, has been appointed as the Global Head and CEO of WhatsApp. He succeeds Will Cathcart. It is to be noted that he is the first Indian to lead the messaging platform.

Concurrently, Miten Sampat has been appointed as the interim CEO of CRED, as Kunal Shah has stepped down from the position.
