The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the subscription of equity shareholding in Axis Finance Ltd by Kedaara Pearl Holding and Kedaara Capital Fund IV AIF.
The CCI has also approved the acquisition of PGIM India Asset Management Pvt Ltd and PGIM India Trustees Pvt Ltd by TVS Emerald Ltd and TVS Venu Management and Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd.
Flipkart Internet Pvt Ltd, in collaboration with Axis Bank Ltd and PayU Payments Pvt Ltd, has introduced biometric authentication for card-based transactions. The system enables users to authorize payments via fingerprint or Face Identification (Face ID), serving as a replacement for traditional One-Time Passwords (OTPs).
NPCI Bharat BillPay Ltd (NBBL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has onboarded Axis Bank onto the “Banking Connect” platform.
With this, the platform is now available across 8 major banks, including State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank. The platform also integrates 11 Payment Aggregators (PAs) to facilitate streamlined digital payment services.
