Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has virtually inaugurated the first Small and Medium Enterprise (SME)-led semiconductor Assembly, Testing, Marking, and Packaging (ATMP) / Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility in India at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.
The facility has been established by Sahasra Semiconductors Pvt Ltd under the Scheme for Promotion of Manufacturing of Electronic Components and Semiconductors (SPECS). Constructed with an investment of over ₹150 crore, the unit spans an area of 57,000 sq ft.

The judgment was delivered in the case of “In Re: Phalodi Accident”, where the SCI examined critical issues related to road safety and the accountability of authorities on highways and expressways.
The World Bank has approved a $225 million (₹2,080 crore) loan for the Rajasthan Highway Modernisation Project to improve the efficiency, resilience, and safety of state highways.
The loan, provided by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), features a 35-year maturity period and a 5-year grace period. It is to be noted that the financial package includes the first Step-Up Loan (SuL) of India to support the modernization of the road network of the state.
The Union Cabinet has approved Phase-2 of the Jaipur Metro Project, which involves the development of a 41 km long corridor connecting Prahladpura to Todi Mod at an estimated cost of ₹13,037.66 crore.
The Cabinet has also authorized the revised cost for the HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Ltd (HRRL) project. The total outlay of the project has been increased from ₹43,129 crore to ₹79,459 crore.
