Mumbai remains the clear hub of wealthy Indians in the Hurun India Rich List 2026. The city is home to 465 individuals on the list, which is far ahead of any other city. New Delhi follows with 236 entries and Bengaluru is third with 129 entries.
The 2026 list covers people across 163 cities around the world, including 106 cities in India. This wide spread shows that wealth creation is no longer limited to a few metros, though Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru still account for nearly half of all entries. Among overseas hubs, Dubai, London and the United States host a large share of Indian origin billionaires, with 156 members of the list living outside India, including 90 in the United States and 31 in the United Arab Emirates.
